Keith and Jula Coggins relocated to Old Town Alexandria in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the area. With its impressive history, quaint vibe, and picturesque appeal, Old Town had everything the Coggins' could ask for...with one exception. It lacked a waterfront restaurant with a spectacular view. With a shared passion for champagne and great food the couple set out to build a restaurant they could not only enjoy together, but also share with friends and neighbors. Jula runs the day-to-day operations while Keith is focused on their defense business across the hall. Jula proudly carries her great-grandmother Jula Jane's name, and in her honor, Cafe 44 was renamed Jula's on the Potomac.
